The Wheel of Time jewelry: Because power looks good on you
Some books just hit differently. The Wheel of Time isn’t just a series - it’s a lifestyle. I’ve spent years losing myself in its magic, its betrayals, its incredibly powerful (and incredibly stubborn) women. As a normal and reasonable response to my obsession, I’ve designed jewelry inspired by some of my favorite characters.
Every piece was made with intention, tying together their essence and aesthetics. Honestly, what I imagine they’d be wearing while ruling, plotting, or just generally being iconic.
Let me take you through them.
For the Lioness of Andor – Elayne Trakand
Elayne Trakand is the definition of a walking contradiction - refined yet reckless, poised yet stubborn as a bull. She is a nobility with a spine of steel, the daughter-heir who will do whatever she wants, even when it makes things way harder for herself.
I wanted her pieces to feel regal but not dainty - because Elayne is many things, but fragile isn’t one of them. Her jewelry had to reflect the weight of leadership, the Green Ajah’s boldness, and the legacy she was born to carry.
💚 Emerald enclave Green Ajah Pendant

An emerald cut into a precise hexagon, framed with silver vines. The hexagon shape is deliberate. It’s strongly structured, a stone that holds its place, just like Elayne in the chaos of war and politics. The vine detailing softens it, a reminder that while she’s got the makings of a ruler, she’s also deeply connected to life and growth.
🐍 Green Ajah Ring

Not every Green Ajah ring should look polished—this one had to feel organic, like something worn in the thick of battle, not just in the Tower. The Emerald Hill Turquoise has a wild, freeform shape because Elayne might be royal, but she sure as hell doesn’t follow a script. The snake chain border wraps around it, a quiet nod to how Aes Sedai's power is never just about brute strength - sometimes, it’s about the slow, patient coil of influence.
🦁 Heart of a Lion Studs

If Andor has a heartbeat, it’s the White Lion. I imagined these as the kind of earrings Elayne would throw on without a second thought. Small but carrying the unmistakable mark of her homeland. The rose quartz teardrops bring her warmth, her capacity to love, and the moments when she lets her guard down. But they’re anchored by the silver lion heads - because no matter how soft she is in private, the world still sees her as a ruler first.
For the Daughter of the Night – Lanfear
Lanfear doesn’t wear jewelry; she wields it. Every piece had to be as deliberate as she is. She’s not just powerful; she always looks it. No rough edges, no imperfections, just pure, calculated presence.
When Rand and Mat first see her, she is described in silver moons and stars, an image that stuck with me. That celestial motif isn’t just about beauty; it’s about control, the way she orbits above everyone else, untouchable, unreachable, believing herself to be the brightest star in the sky.

🌠Moon and star Hair Wands

A single silver hairpin, long, sleek, and adorned with subtle stars. The kind of thing that looks effortlessly elegant until you realize it could also be used as a weapon, which feels very on-brand for her.
🖤 Onyx Moonshadow Pin

Onyx isn’t just for aesthetics - it’s a stone of power, keeping control, and maintaining the upper hand. The silver stars and moons dangle just enough to catch the light, a whisper of silver glowing in the dark the first time she stepped onto the page. This is the piece for someone who understands that beauty can be a weapon.
🖤 Onyx Nocturne Choker

Heavy silver links because nothing about Lanfear is delicate. The onyx at its center is a reminder that power has weight, and she wears it well.
For the Fishergirl turned Amyrlin – Siuan Sanche
Siuan’s jewelry needed to be subtle and practical but still deeply her. She doesn’t drape herself in jewels; she wears things that mean something and reminds her of where she came from. The Tower she ruled and the future she fought for.
🐟 Koi Fish Studs

Siuan never forgets her roots. The koi fish isn’t just a nod to Tear’s harbor; they’re a reminder of the fisher girl who became the Amyrlin Seat—a quiet, personal symbol of where she started and the strength it took to rise above it.

Seven gemstones, each standing for an Ajah, evenly laid out along the chain. But the real secret is in the details: an extension chain at the back (because choices, always), and at the very end? A single black gem. Not everything is as simple as it seems; even among the most righteous, there are whispers of shadow.
